Z500a Reviews (Sony Ericsson)
Z500a Reviews (Sony Ericsson) from various sources.
‘PhoneInsider’ has just published a Z500a Review (Sony Ericsson), here’s a little of what they wrote about the Sony Ericsson Z500a’s camera and images: The Sony Ericsson Z500a’s camera can be used even when the phone is closed. In order to activate the Sony Ericsson Z500a’s camera you can press the camera button on the side of the phone. When the Sony Ericsson Z500a is closed, the external screen is used as the viewfinder. This allows you to take pictures or videos of yourself. Overall this mode works pretty well. It’s much more convenient than using the little mirrors that manufacturers place next to the Sony Ericsson Z500a’s camera lens on other phones.
Unfortunately I do not have any samples of videos or pictures. This is due to me not having a data cable to connect the Sony Ericsson Z500a to the computer. So you are going to have to trust me when I say that pictures taken with the Sony Ericsson Z500a look crisp and bright. Colours are very true to life. Videos are very smooth. They are saved in 3GP format. I have a Motorola V551 for review right now and the videos shot by the V551 do not even come close to the quality of the Sony Ericsson Z500a.

‘MobileBurn’ have a Z500a Review (Sony Ericsson), here’s what they have written about the Sony Ericsson Z500a’s design: The Sony Ericsson Z500a has an attractive clamshell design. The Sony Ericsson Z500a’s primary teal color with silver accents might not appeal to everyone, but it does get style points for not looking like every other phone on the market. Sony Ericsson is trying to attract the younger buyer with ability to switch out phone covers (SE refers to them as ’style up covers’). Like the rest of its current mobile line-up, there is no external antenna to interrupt the lines of the Sony Ericsson Z500a. The face of the Sony Ericsson Z500a is home to the external color sub-display (4096 colours) with the camera lens just above it. While it’s not an ultra-compact phone, the Sony Ericsson Z500a’s lighter than it appears, weighing in at 110 grams.
‘LetsTalk’ have a Z500a Review (Sony Ericsson), here’s ‘Ray P’ has written about his Sony Ericsson Z500a: The Sony Ericsson Z500a is the first flip phone I have had in years due to the fact that I’ve hated all the previous ones I’ve had. Not the case here, I love the Sony Ericsson Z500a.
‘LapTopMag’ have a Z500a Review (Sony Ericsson), here’s what they have to say about the Sony Ericsson Z500a’s camera: The Sony Ericsson Z500a’s VGA camera takes good pictures, although the images tend to blur around the periphery, as is the case with many camera phones. Viewed on a PC, the photos had vivid color, and the resolution was crisp enough to tell the model of a car that was about 200 feet away. Overall, the Sony Ericsson Z500a’s camera is one of the better VGA units we’ve tested.
The Sony Ericsson Z500a also takes decent videos, although clips are limited to 15 seconds. Videos are formatted as 3GP, but to view them on a PC that already has Real Player, all you need is a small plug-in.
