Samsung i310

Samsung i310 8GB hard-drive phone The Samsung i310 is the latest in a line of tasty looking music phones from Samsung. The SGH-i310 revealed yesterday incorporates a whopping 8GB hard drive, which can easily store enough tracks than most music fanatics can handle, an adequate 2 megapixel camera and a digital audio player capable of playing music formats such as MP3, WMA and AAC. The i310 phone’s music player also includes an amplifier and revolutionary stereo sound functions which help boost the mobiles sound output.

The Samsung i310’s looks remind me of Sony Ericsson’s recent Walkman phones, especially the K750i. The phone is sleek and seductive but packs a mean punch, a bit like Kerry Katona on a night out in Warrington. The i310 also provides the usual connectivity staples, Bluetooth Wireless and USB 2.0 for loading those photos on to the computer as quickly as possible.

The Samsung SGH-i310 is expected to be available in Europe sometime during the second quarter of this year (2006), we’ll just have to see if it arrives in Blighty, if the i310 does it’ll probably leave quite a hole in the pocket.
