Pantech PH-S6000 Mobile Phone

Pantech PH-S6000 Mobile Phone revealed today.

Pantech has just unveiled the Pantech PH-S6000 phone, which is being billed as the “next generation” in interactive mobile technology.

The Pantech PH-S6000 is among the first phones to feature the innovative 1mm technology, designed by SK Telecom, which allows mobile users to access a range of services, such as messaging and games, by speaking to interactive characters shown on the display of the phone.

Dr. Moon S. Song, President & CEO of Pantech & Curitel Communications, Inc., said:

We believe that the Pantech PH-S6000 represents a major step forward in mobile technology, in terms of allowing users to interact with a “cyber secretary” on their phones to access various functions and to organize their daily schedules.

In many ways, the Pantech PH-S6000 truly represents the next generation in interactive mobile technology, insofar as users can now use their phones for a wide range of applications by just speaking to the character on the display,

said Dr. Song.

Along with 1mm, the Pantech PH-S6000 is fully equipped with other sophisticated features, such as dual flash camera, AAC (advanced audio coding) camcorder, and GIGA (graphic instruction graphic acceleration) functionality. In addition, the Pantech PH-S6000 supports Bluetooth 3D gaming technology.

The sliding phone also allows users to leave “mobile post its” - animated personal reminders - on the display screen. Other capabilities include an online direction finding service, and the capacity for users to transfer data from PCs to the handset.
