Nokia 7380 Review
PCMag has reviewed the Nokia 7380 and writes about the phone’s camera: “The 2MP camera has a decent flash, for a camera phone, and takes shots quickly. The shots are decently sharp, but we saw red and blue colour halos and lots of colour noise, putting the 7380 well behind camera phones such as the Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman. The movie mode takes videos at a choppy 176-by-144 and 15 frames per second.”
MobileBurn has reviewed the Nokia 7380, here’s a little about the phone’s camera: The Nokia 7380’s camera is a bit of a mixed bag. How well it will perform for you depends much on what type of pictures you intend to take. If you want to use the Nokia 7380 for taking snapshots while travelling and visiting places outdoors, you will probably be satisfied with the results. Especially in good sunlight, the Nokia 7380 takes nice landscape shots. But if your photos tend more towards the dark and crowded scene, such as in bars, then you will have to look elsewhere to get your photo fix. The Nokia 7380’s night mode does help clean up the photos shot in darker scenes, but at the expense of much of the colour saturation. But trying to shoot in low light without using the night mode will rarely, if ever, produce acceptable results. The flash is decently bright, though its use always leads to blue tinted photos.
Infosync has reviewed the Nokia 7380 and write: The Nokia 7380 bears no resemblence to an ordinary mobile phone, providing an Apple iPod-style scroll wheel for navigation and text input as opposed to a keypad. On the upside, it’s smaller than most phones and also sports a widescreen display, but its mediocre battery life and virtually unusable text input hamper use to the extent that it cannot be recommended as a daily-use handset. Using it to show off, however, is another matter altogether.
