Motorola PEBL Reviews

Motorola PEBL Reviews DesignTechnica has reviewed the Motorola PEBL and writes: “Speaking of the camera, it’s only VGA with no zoom and, as noted, no self-portrait mode. Its lack of mega pixels isn’t criminal at this price — in fact, the RAZR doesn’t have a mega pixel camera either. But mega pixel cameras are becoming more the norm than the exception in the two years since RAZR’s introduction and the PEBL’s design and price expectations.”

CNET has reviewed the Motorola PEBL U6 and here’s a little of what they write about the phone’s VGA camera: “Photos and video were about what you’d expect from a VGA camera; objects were fuzzy, and colours didn’t exactly jump out. When finished with your snapshots and clips, you can send them in a multimedia message or save them to the phone. A meter keeps track of how much space in the phone’s 5MB of memory you have left.”

Trusted Reviews has reviewed the Motorola PEBL, here’s just a snippet about the phone’s camera: “It also has an integrated camera, but the resolution is a very lowly 640 x 480. That said, if all you want to do is take pictures for multimedia messages, that resolution will be more than enough. But even if Motorola had equipped the Motorola PEBL with a 2 megapixel camera, that would only have highlighted this phone’s biggest limitation, it’s lack of memory.

They conclude that: The Motorola PEBL is a beautifully designed and constructed phone that will appeal to the style conscious consumer. It’s far from feature packed, and the lack of internal memory will severely limit the use of the features that it does have. However, if you’re looking for a small and stylish phone to – god forbid – actually make phone calls, the Motorola PEBL should be high on your list.
