Nikon Coolpix L1 Reviews

Nikon Coolpix L1 Reviews ‘Steves Digicams’ has reviewed the Nikon Coolpix L1 digital camera, here’s his view: The Nikon Coolpix L1 is equipped with a 5x Nikkor optical zoom lens with a 38 – 190mm (in 35mm equivalent) focal length coverage. The maximum aperture is F2.9 to 5.0 and it has a dedicated macro mode. When powered down the lens retracts and is protected by a built-in shutter, no lens cap needed.

Auto focus is handled by a contrast detect TTL system and the focus range is 1 ft 8 in. (50cm) to infinity in normal, 1.6 in. (4cm) to infinity in Macro mode (wide angle). Auto focus can be single-AF or Continuous-AF with Auto (five-area selection) and Centre-focus area selection available.

Megapixel has reviewed the Nikon Coolpix L1 and write: Clearly aimed at the point-and-shoot market, the Nikon Coolpix L1 does not offer any advanced shooting modes. Instead, 15 Scene programs are available, covering a range of common subjects and scenes which offer additional flexibility beyond what is offered by the Auto mode. Just like its external controls, the options offered on the Nikon Coolpix L1 are fairly basic, even when the camera is used in Auto mode, the shooting mode that has the greatest flexibility, allowing the user to control exposure compensation, white balance, metering mode, and auto focus mode.
